What are your favourite British songs from the 90s?

Hello! I’m writing a story set in Britain in the 90s and would love to use music from that era, so pls feel free to tell me your favourite British artists/bands!

Also, I’m from Spain. If anyone wants to give me any information regarding social issues in the 90s, customs, popular slang in the era, popular movies, how people made friends etc i’d love to heart it!

The story will be something like Harry Potter, as it was also set in the 90s :)
