If you are not accepting of imperfect allies, you’ll get perfect enemies.
Graham Platners honesty is refreshing. The Democratic wing should be more accepting when someone says “I didn’t know what I was talking about” or “I’m sorry” or “I was wrong”.
Is it just me or has the Dems cultural quest for perfection gone way too far? Almost to the point where we expect our leaders to have perfect track records, even though that isn’t humanly possible in our modern age. We need more forgiveness and we ask for more transparency but then we kick anyone to the curb who has something that we don’t agree with in their past.
It’s getting old and I agree with the guys approach here. Graham is a great opportunity to reach across the isle. Until we relax on who we let into the party, we might as well just accept a Vance 28 or something.
