How does one find a client with cold outreach?

I'm a freelance digital marketer and

I've been trying to find clients seriously since June and have only had one paid gig in that entire time.

I've basically only done Cold DM'ing on Instagram and Twitter coupled with Cold email if the prospect had an email shown on their website.

I've been wanting to try Cold Calling but I feel that fear is paralyzing me very strongly from doing so.

Some part of me thinks If I started Cold Calling that I would book meetings and close clients pretty soon after starting but I have no way of knowing that.

I know LinkedIN exists as well but...

First, what should I do in this predicament? and second.

What ways do people find clients from Cold Outreach in 2025?
