Selectable input output storage

Title says it. I want storage of all varieties where when you rotate the building it just rotates where the inputs and outputs are aligned, so if I want a little storage with one in and one out on the same side, I can do that. Or a big storage and whatever my setup is needs 3 inputs and one output on the same face, I can do that. Or a big storage with 4 in on one face and on the faces immediately left and right of it each a pair of outputs, press r a few times and I get what I need. Everything in coi is already modular. Why aren't storages?
