Everyone! I have been excited about the ESR 3 in 1 Travel edition,, ever since it was announced in IFA 2025 this year because Cryoboost and I pre-ordered it as soon as it showed up on their site and I finally have it!!!

I have been meaning to get a 3 in 1 charger, and right now in the market there is just Belkin and ESR who make Qi 2.2 25W speeds for phone and Apple Certified Watch charger matching the speeds of apple cables that come in Box.

I have run a bunch of tests and ran comparisons, but ESR I think is probably gonna be a winner this year against everyone in this category.

Look and Feel: There is a premium feel to the charger, uses a metallic hinge and has 2 fans built in, one for phone and for the airpods area. It has pretty long cable USB C -C cable with 90 degree bend on one side for easy placement on the desk/night stand. It also includes a 50W charger although I'm not sure if the PD specs support it compared to other brands say Belkin.

Operation: The fans are super quiet, automatic as soon as phone is placed. You would have to put next to ears to hear it IMO. There is a button available to run it off if needed, however I dont see ever doing that. The viewing angles are great for the phone and adjustable, I wanna say upto 70 degrees. There are tiny magnets on the charging pad for Airpods to align it properly, which I think is neat.

Tests: I setup a shortcut in the phone for battery status and automation to log the time it took to charge every 5 or 10% of battery and I put up the charts as comparison along with Belkin's for iPhone 17 pro. Also I will be rerunning some tests with Belkin since it kind went into super trickle charging after 80%

I also ran tests with Ultra 1, Ultra 2 and S8 apple watches , its not as scientific of a test comaprison since there are no automations on watch but Belkin has a slight upper hand where it can charge 80% in an hour for Ultra but ESR could only reach about 72%.

The watch charger seems upgraded compared to the portable/removable version thats in the Desktop version since it could only do 50% in one hour for Ultra.

Verdict - for Phone charging supporting Qi 2.2 25W, ESR is faster in both 0-50% and 50-80% scenario.

So exciting! I truly believe ESR knocked it out of the park but one thing they missed is the travel case like they offered with last gen. May be they will come out with one?

IMO best 3 in 1 Travel Charger Qi2.2 25w edition
