AMA: I’m Jane Hume, Liberal Senator for Victoria. Ask Me Anything.

Hi all,

I'm Jane Hume - a Liberal Senator for Victoria.

A bit about me, I have been in Parliament for almost 10 years now. Prior to entering Parliament I had experience in the private sector working in financial services and superannuation. In Government, I was the Minister for Financial Services, Superannuation, Digital Economy and Women's Economic Security.

I have three kids who are now all officially adults (woohoo!) and I am a proud mum to a black labrador. If you're an AFL watcher, you should know I am a big St Kilda fan.

You can read my full bio here: https://www.senatorhume.com/about/about-senator-hume

I've also just introduced a Bill to the Parliament on superannuation if you're interested in checking that out and asking me questions about how it works: https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Bills_Legislation/Bills_Search_Results/Result?bId=s1470

Otherwise, I am happy to answer questions on just about anything. I'll be online from 6:00pm today for about an hour. I look forward to answering your questions!

J
