My course landing page pins finally look professional

Ride Along Story

I teach freelance writing through an online course. My Pinterest pins for the landing page were... not great.

I'd try to make them in Canva but they always looked off. Colors didn't match, text was hard to read, images looked cheap. The course itself is good but the pins made it look sketchy.

Pretty sure I was losing signups because people judged the quality of my course based on my terrible pin designs. Can't blame them.

I'm not a designer and spending hours learning design software wasn't a good use of time. Tried hiring someone but they didn't understand the course well enough to create compelling pins.

Friend told me about Tailwind's SmartPin feature. It analyzes my landing page and creates professional-looking pins automatically. Takes like 2 minutes instead of me struggling for an hour.

The designs actually look polished now. My landing page conversion rate from Pinterest went from 2.1% to 4.7% after updating the pins.

Turns out first impressions really matter. People do judge quality based on how professional your marketing looks.

I'm still not great at design but at least my pins don't embarrass me anymore.

What helped you guys improve your visual marketing? Did you learn design or just find good tools?
