Opinions on Moissanite watches???

I recently bought this Moissanite watch that I’m obsessed with and the owners selling point was that he assembles them with Seiko movements instead of it being assembled in china with poor parts. Plus it’s not counterfeit because he uses his logo.

I’m wondering tho, is the only hype on moissanite watches because they have a brand name like “Cartier” (even tho it’s fake or counterfeit) or is it because it’s iced out???
