How good is the Falcons roster this year?

Discussion

Before the season began, all the power rankings were in near consensus that the Falcons were in the 20-25 range. Which, as a Falcons fan, came as a sorta shock to me. The Falcons upgraded their defense (I think Gruden put it best when he said, "I can name a few players on the Falcons Defense, but the sqaud as a whole works really well together even though we don't know all their names.") The offense has some high powered specialty pieces in Drake London, Darnell Mooney, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson. Michael Penix only had a handful of starts last season and an entire offseason to prepare as a starter.

As a biased fan, it feels like this roster is better than their 3-4 record indicates. It feels like this roster is better than a 20 to 25 power ranking. It feels like our head coach and offensive coordinator are holding this team back. We've seen some brilliant flashes of this team where they look unbeatable and we've seen the Falcons lose to the one-win Dolphins.

I just want an honest, unbiased assessment of how good this roster is and why they're so inconsistent.
