Buying a Galaxy Tab outside the UK

Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying a Galaxy Tab in an EU country since it’s cheaper (with trade-in discount and student discount applied) than in the UK. If I do, would Samsung UK still cover warranty and repairs, or would I need to send it back to the country of purchase?
