What do you do for income?

My husband and I are seriously considering a move from the US to somewhere in Europe. Likely Italy since my husband’s father was born in Rome. The main thing stopping us for selling it all and going is income. What are the best and most likely paths to earn income? We are about 10 years from retiring and have a 9 year old. I make a comfortable salary at a bank and have 25 years of experience in the industry. Husband is a photographer and self employed. I would like to earn the equivalent of $100k/year.

How did you all transition your income? What are the best ways to earn income? I’m ok with a corporate job, but also open to more entrepreneurial pursuits.
