Want to know if its possible to work minimum wage and still afford a car

Hello! So i am originally from new york, but when to university overseas but, due job difficulties i am moving in with my parents for the time being and trying to look for a job. The problems is that while i am trying to look for a full time office job, i am getting really bored and antsy staying at home, i am greatful my parents are not charging me rent but now i can't spend any money. With the holidays coming up i want to by things for my friends and family, and i honestly want to buy things for myself to but i don't want to use my savings.

So i was thinking that since i'd have to get a car eventually, i wanted to see if i could get a car and try to get some sort of minimum wage job that way at least i have something to do as well as have some sort of income coming in, but i want to know if that is feasible in the tampa area, i'm not even planning on getting a new car, i want a used car that will just get me places.
