Watched Prisoners again last night-still one of the best modern thrillers imo.

I don’t know what it is about Prisoners (2013), but every time I rewatch it, I catch something new. The pacing, the tension, the way it never fully hands you answers-it’s just brutal and brilliant.
Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal both kill it.
Honestly, I feel like Denis Villeneuve doesn’t get enough credit for how human and messy his early films were compared to his newer, more epic stuff.
Curious if anyone else thinks this movie holds up after all these years or if it’s just nostalgia hitting me.
