funniest responses to family questions at Thanksgiving?

Yeah sooo I've been out for close to two years now and I've had a very successful transition. I haven't been involved with my family for most of that time, but recently a divorce has actually opened up the space for me. I have an invite, and anyone who's disrespectful to me, including misgendering, will be kicked out.

I'm from rural KY though, so im expecting a ton of weird questions. Like for one, there's the "are you getting 'the surgery'?" question, and the actual answer is no unless I do ppv, which would disintegrate a cis person's mind.

I'm also one of those people that enjoys infodumping about transition anyway, so I'm not that bad off for what's coming.

But yeah, any examples of your experiences, or funny ideas would be great!!!
