P1S or P2S

Should I take advantage of the Black Friday sale and get the p1s or continue to wait to see the p2s price when it releases in the US? And if I get p1s is the ams 2 worth the extra money? I’d primarily just print pla and petg.

My budget is around 800 USD, includes filament as well. But will go up with time if needed
