How to deal with a parent dying?

My dad died unexpectedly after a surgery. I cannot say much as there may be a law suit, but I am struggling to cope. I have so much anger and hatred towards the hospital and mostly myself. I feel like I should have listened to my gut as I felt off about his recovery. Any advice is welcome.
