[Question] Is Battlefield Pro Monthly?

Hey Folks!

I feel like I will be torn apart about this question, but I am currently at work and have been MIA from BF intel. A friend told me about this "Battlefield Pro" and he is making it sound like a new monthly thing, but so far, my research hasn't pointed me towards a solid answer.

He said he gets with Phantom Edition, so I am wondering if it is a new subscription and if upgrading to PE would make more sense than a monthly fee, if PE gives you BF Pro forever and IF I were to play the BR more.
