[M4F] Bound in the village square

Fresh out of school and on your own, you've decided to travel abroad to get some life experience before continuing on with education or starting work, both terrifying prospects for you as all you've known is that routine. So taking a break you book a flight to the other side of the ocean and start back packing around, taking rideshares where you can and once in a while splurging on a short flight to the next major city.

It's all been pretty fun, a couple of sketchy hostels, one drunken wander around where you had no idea and one scam that you lost a few bills in, overall nothing too bad at all so you start to become more bold with you adventures and where you're willing to go until one morning you find yourself deep in the rural countryside looking down at the small village along a river, one where you've heard about a special event for bride kidnapping and taking down women for fun in general.

Lining the river banks and buildings downtown, villagers and tourists watch the activities unfold, normaly it's pretty planned out, boyfriends catching their girlfriends, women who want to have a bit of fun and adventure allowing themselves to be out in public, maybe hoping to get caught or the thrill of escape. You find yourself out in the city before the event, looking at everyone, some people in traditional clothes, some in more show off clothes, it's a big variation.

Now this is where you can decide for the scene, does your character willingly get into this situation or does she go somewhere she thinks is safe but is and gets caught? Can she successfully evade capture?
