AirPods Pro 3 Defective

I have a pair of AirPods Pro 3 which are getting dangerously hot when charging and are completely inoperable.

Apple said they would send a box out for service which never arrived. Further, I’ve contacted them three times about this and all three times they have told me that there are no notes on my case at all with no box being sent out.

It feels very strange at the minute, almost like the issue is being ignored. I got the AirPods Pro 3 on launch day and they barely lasted a month before completely failing and malfunctioning in such a fashion that Apple told me to cease use.

I’m not sure what is going on but I wanted to know if anyone else is having similar issues? Im a heavy apple user and I’ve never experienced issues such as this.
