Sock Day!

The day has finally come. Today I got my sock! Hearing went smoothly and we both were able to keep our own stuff from before marriage (5 year relationship, 1.5 year marriage with no kids and no properties). My ex wife and I chatted a bit, and she seemed somewhat remorseful overall but the road is finally over.

Feeling bittersweet, glad to put it behind me and move forward with my life, which has been much more positive these past months living on my own and seeing a therapist, but sad to see our relationship which had many happy moments coming to a close. Overall, I feel much more myself as an individual, but enjoyed being a husband and somewhat miss the life that could have been.

Anyway, thems the breaks. Thank you all for the support through this journey and best of luck to everyone still going through it!
