Lost a 2 year relationship with my bf for selling online content AMA

Here’s a bit of lore My ex bf met me when I was making online content and he knew about it, said he was okay with it and things were normal for a couple of months. Until eventually he started being weird towards me, he kept cancelling plans which I thought at first was because he was busy, my friend called me saying that she was hanging out with him and this random girl after he told me constantly that he’s been busy with work. I didn’t automatically assume that he was doing anything I decided to talk to him about it.

I called him asking about the girl him and my friend was hanging out with he immediately got defensive saying that I talk to guys all the time and that he didn’t understand why him hanging out with another girl was the problem. I simply was surprised as to why he felt the need to lie to me in the first place about being busy when he was actually doing something else. I wouldn’t have cared and he simply would have said “oh hey I’m hanging out with other people talk to you soon” it’s the lying that weirded me out.

He ended up breaking it off with me, it happened so fast and I kept feeling like I was the one that destroyed the relationship when I was honest from day one and he wasn’t.
