Just got a email from my son's school about the shutdown

My son's school just sent out an email with a list of various food banks and churches that run breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also repeated that there is the school comfort closet filled with food, clothing, and toiletries.

I've been anxious reading and hearing all the news and such but that email broke me. I feel like crying. I know my son and I be fine for a while, but the area I live in is very poor. High levels of poverty. I fear this will be a devastating end of year for my town, area of living, and county of my state.
