Is it squirting

I am trying to teach myself how to squirt and when I’m about to come, I get this intense feeling of having to pee like it’s said to happen just before squirting. I breath into it and it does come out a bit but I’m confused because it’s rather leaking out instead of a squirt… is that pee lol? I tried to find out by smelling and even tasting it but can’t tell. Is squirting only when it squirts? And what am I doing wrong then lol
