Need spoiler about cats

!I just reached the Billboard level, and the Mayor just sent me a message saying he wants his cat back. I love Ulysses and her kittens, and there's no way in *hell* he's getting them back. Can someone assure me that I don't have to worry about this (no catnapping attempts or other temporary separation from my three favorite power wash buddies)? I play this game to relieve stress, and losing my buddies would add to my stress.!<

I need reassurance. These things are important. Minor spoiler only, please - I just want the answer to that question. Thanks!
