Is doing a Diploma in Interior Design after BBA a good move?

Hi everyone, I recently completed my BBA but I’ve always been very interested in Interior Design. I’m considering pursuing a Diploma in Interior Design as my next step. I have a few doubts and would love some advice from people in this field or anyone who has taken a similar path: Is it a good idea to shift from BBA to Interior Design at this stage? Will a diploma be enough to build a career, or should I aim for a degree/PG course? Which colleges or institutes in India (preferably Bangalore/Chennai/Coimbatore or other cities with good exposure) are recommended for Interior Design with strong networking and career scope? Any specific courses, certifications, or paths you’d suggest that combine creativity with business skills? Thanks in advance! Your inputs will really help me make an informed decision.
