Similar books to 'I deliver parcels in Beijing' by Hu Anyan?

🏯 Daily Life

I was made aware of this book through an article/interview posted on the Financial Times earlier this year. The English version of this book was just released yesterday and I've pretty much gobbled it up. I find it really interesting to get this insight into the life, struggles and mentality of the working class in China in our current times. It's thought provoking and I couldn't help myself from rooting and feeling for the author as he navigates through life in China as an odinary blue collar worker. These are the ordinary store clerks, delivery men and food stall owners you see on a daily basis after all.

As someone who doesn't read mandarin, are there any book recommendations about similar books or this type of slice of life / life in China genre?
