NIPT positive for trisomy 20

I did Myriad extended testing and came up positive for t20. Negative for t13, 18, 21. The genetic counselor told us not to worry as t20 has a very high false positive rate (almost 90%) and it’s usually only found in the placenta, not the baby.

I still am full of anxiety. I am just looking for support, I guess. We have to wait until 15-16 weeks for an amniocentesis to check the baby’s DNA and the wait is killing me.

Has anyone had this experience (or know anyone) and have positive stories to share? I really need them right now 🥺🤍
