Fidelity loaned securities + covered calls?
I own 760 shares of a stock, which I sell 7 covered calls on monthly. I recently enrolled in fidelitys fully paid lending, which has automatically began lending my stocks out for this particular company. However, I see it is only lending out 60 shares.
From the documentation, it sounds like I should be able to sell covered calls and lend out the shares at the same time, but i only see fidelity lending out 60 shares.
Any ideas why?
From fidelity website: https://www.fidelity.com/trading/fully-paid-lending
“Can I sell covered calls against my loaned position? Yes, if your account is approved to trade options, you can write covered calls in the "cash" account type. As a result, your loan will be returned to cover the call option”
