Is innocence treated as ignorance, especially in the dating scene?

• Do people treat what could be innocent behavior as ignorance instead?
  • ...including lethally and for everyone to see, making an example out of them?
  • Common examples including looking in the wrong direction for any more than half a second, not giving the right of way to anyone who either looks ripped, unconcerned but big enough, or like they skipped breakfast, not blending in with the crowd, meaning saying and doing the exact same things, and failing to react or respond, let alone oblige, when they kindly ask you to do or say something.
• Does this commonly happen among men where, if they see some guy dating a woman, he will take that woman from him, one way or another?
• What about if men make sure there are no other men in the area for any women to possibly date in the first place, i.e. Survival of the Fittest?

Where I live, this is commonplace, and I don't even live in the most dangerous part of the U.S. or any of its murder capitals, just a regular part of town.
