Vehicles in BR

This might be a hot take but after 5 matches of BR I'm struggling to understand why they thought it would be a good idea to make anti-vehicle drops which are destructible visible to the squads which control those vehicles. On such a large map 95% of the time those who control the vehicle get to the drop and destroy it leaving all others squads helpless to dealing with them. Maybe I haven't seen one yet but are RPGs/laws available as standard crates?
