Does my message to him come off like a rejection?

Spiralling cuz it's hard for me to find good hookups in my town. This guy I was casually seeing sent me a sext, basically asking when I'll give him a bj (I'm not sure if he actually thinks being blunt sounds good, but that's how most of his dirty texts sound) and I replied back saying "when you get better at dirty texting" (I thought he'd send something hotter) and he never replied back after this. He ended up suddenly blocking me 8-9 days after for whatever reason too, so I can't message him again. Did my message to him come off like I was turning him down?
