Ideas to support teachers after back to work act has been passed!

Discussion

I am a high-school student in Alberta, after this back to work order that just passed, I think the best way to show them that they cannot just silence people's right to protest and strike, is for the students to walkout, they can fine teachers if they continue to strike but they can't do anything if the students decide to walkout. Please talk to your friends and try to start or join your schools walkout, it's the best way we can stand up for our teachers, our education and our rights! For parents and students who would like to do more to stand by and support teachers, but aren't sure how, you can email the mla at education.minister@gov.ab.ca and premier@gov.ab.ca Sending some quick emails are a good way to support teachers during this time! An even better option would be to call the offices directly, it's harder to ignore calls then emails. Going to the legislator and protesting is very helpful as well but if you aren't able to do that, make use of social media! Being active and joining the conversation helps, create posts on reddit, make tiktoks to spread awareness, post Instagram stories relating to nearby school walkouts, any form of raising awareness or spreading information can help out! Don't be scared to speak up or join the discussion!

If you have any opinions, ideas or comments about this situation feel free to comment and spread awareness!

We need to stand together and show them that we are the people and that we matter, and will not just be silenced!!

SUPPORT OUR TEACHERS AND ESSENTIAL WORKERS DURING THIS TOUGH TIME ❤❤❤
