low level PvP

hey guys I used to play lots of low level PvP getting a few first and second age warlords very long time ago around 2010 on a level 16 and a level 60.

I stopped playing both pve and PvP around level 70 after zafaria but my brother leveled my character (a fire) up to 150 over the years and still actively plays on his characters. He’s been telling me about all the crazy changes on test rn and has been getting me interested in returning.

I’ve been watching some max level PvP videos again and was told by my brother that low level PvP is dead below level 50 but there is level 50,100 and max level PvP that people play.

Can someone just give me a breakdown of what the PvP scene looks like right now. Ik about how lots of cards are banned and have all sorts of new mechanics. I’m curious. Is Grandmaster PvP at all a popular? Or level 100? or is it only max level pvp that anyone plays? Are certain schools busted where it’s broken or is the game decently balanced. I like some of the new mechanics I’m seeing with school pips, gambit, detonates, etc.

I like the PvP side of this game but don’t have the patience to want to grind for max level and gear in pve too much. I just want to play silly card game against other players I miss how fun it used to be.
