Which Carrier furnace of these two?

Our home was built in 2013 with a Honeywell 3 zone system with Heil single stage furnace. We moved in two years ago and have not been impressed with the zoning. Anyhow, we are at a point where we need to replace the Heil furnace and have an $8800 quote for a Carrier Performance Series 2 Stage Variable Speed Gas Furnace and a $7800 quote for a Carrier Comfort Series Single Stage Gas Furnace. Is the two stage worth the extra $1000? We are only planning on staying in the house for another 5-6 years. Thanks!
