Red Sea Nano - Gen 1

Hello all,

I’m new(ish) to this hobby. I had a nano tank about 10 years ago, but after a crash I broke it down. On reflection, the LFS upsold me from a tropical tank I had bought elsewhere and said to just add a wave maker and some live rock and all will be well based on the tropical set up, out the box. It clearly wasn’t 😬 it lasted 6 months

I have the chance to buy a RedSea Nano 20 gallon for £350 including the RedSea stand pretty much everything I need, excluding sand, rock, water and livestock.

I’ve read on multiple forums/facebook groups about issues with RedSea, but there are limited reviews specifically about seal breaks with the 20 gallon.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with one? I’m on the fence currently.
