I upgraded my ram, now I feel like my PC is unstable
I recently upgraded my RAM from 8GB to 16GB on my laptop (it was bottlenecking it), and now I get crashes from time to time, or even the laptop straight up just doesnt boot up to windows, but can boot up to BIOS. At the same time I upgraded my RAM, I also started to update graphics drivers, got a laptop cooler (which doesnt do much). My laptop has a problem with the fans, they still work but it needs to be replaced. Some of the crashes were: DPC watchdog violation, not being able to find storage unit--> cant boot to windows (I have an nvme), random blue screens, etc. Did I burn a component by overheating the PC? Or, do I need to do anything else for my RAM? I bought the exact same RAM, but only thing I did was to plug it in the slot. Do I need to update something?
