AITA for telling my coworker to stop calling me lazy just because I don’t stay late like her.

I (26F) work in an office where staying late has become common even though our shift ends at 5 PM. My coworker Megan (31F) stays until 7 or 8 to look committed. Management likes her for it, but she keeps making comments about others not caring enough about their jobs.

I always finish my work on time and leave at 5. My boss has never complained. Megan keeps making remarks about how nice it must be to clock out early or how some people do not put in enough effort.

Last week I told her to stop calling me lazy. I said staying late does not make her better and if she cannot manage her time, that is her issue. She got upset and said I was being rude and unprofessional.
