Am I falling behind by not creating something with AI, even though I have a stable and well-paying job?
Hey everyone,
I’ve got a bit of a silly question. I’ve been working in the corporate sector for about 11 years now, earning around £85K/year as a Design Manager for a great company in London. Honestly, I’m really happy with my job, the workload is manageable, the company is amazing, and overall, I feel quite satisfied with where I am.
But lately, I’ve been seeing the whole AI wave everywhere, thousands of tools popping up, people building AI workflows, AI agents, automation systems, you name it. I follow a lot of AI-related pages, and it feels like everyone’s creating something at the speed of light 😂
Here’s my concern: I’m not really doing anything in AI. I know about a lot of tools and use some of them on a basic level, but I’m not actually building or creating anything. I don’t work in n8n, I don’t know how to create AI workflows, and I just don’t have much time because of my full-time job.
Should I be worried about not keeping up with all this? Or should I just focus on my current stable career and not stress too much? Would love to hear what others think.
