I preordered the IP17 and get the item during the Oct17 launching here in Cebu.

Maraming adjustments pala hahaha from an avid fan and user of Android. Actually, I was planning to purchase the Pixel 10, pero nakakadisappoint yung comparison nila between the IP17, kase parang pro na talaga yung the latter.

Pero after using it for weeks now, I was feel kinda regretful kase bet ko talaga Android. I’m still trying to love the IOS, hopefully nga. These are my takes as of now:

What I like about ios:
- icons can have uniform style if you customize it, unlike sa Android na only apps nasupported yung theming
- you can delete default apps and replace them with what you like (except safari and siri, you can’t delete safari and you cannot replace siri as assistant)
- the cameras are good
- contacts is so good, sync na sync sa google account ko
- action button: so reliable
- customization: bet na bet, pinakbet. d man talaga ako mahilig sa customization pero goods na goods yung options for me.
- face id

What I don’t like:
- Keyboard (kahit pinalitan ko na ng Gboard, ganun parin), no option for numbers at the top, and comma/dot in the main view), walang clipboard 😭
- back gesture: sa android, kahit paleft or right pa yan, pwedeng pwede
- notications: nakakalimutan ko minsan yung notifs ko kase walang indicator sa topbar if nakaunlock yung phone
- cannot disable auto-wake if merong notification
- siri: heavily reliant ako kay gemini voice, pero for now, tap2 lng muna
- no rcs yet: smart and globe’s issue
- dns setup: every network lalagyan (but in my end, hindi gumagana yung adguard)

other:
- currently using the apple music kase may free trial (pause muna sa ytm subscription), hindi natututo agad sa music taste ko.
- weird ang ui ng chrome and some google apps sa ios
- most apps implemented very well sa ios vs android
- sync na sync yung mac and ios ko: if nakaset yung focus sa ios, auto-sync siya sa macos

reason of sudden upgrade: my samsung s21 already have 10 lines in the screen and counting, may green, white, purple.

note: sorry for grammatical errors and this is just a subjective take of mine.
