Why are cissoids so fucking clueless about hormones

I've heard my coworker say jokingly he'd steal a trans man's testosterone doses to become the ultimate giga masculine manly male man. I told him that this would be quite frankly not a good idea because excess testosterone converts into estradiol without aromatise inhibitors and that he'll need a bra soon if he did that. He looked at me like I was a fucking wizard and asked me what estradiol is and if that was actually true and I'm being serious. Istg did a lot of them skip bio-chemistry class?
