Hello guys - silicone scar sheet on old scars

As the title says does anyone know or have they tried those silicone scar sheets on older scars - 10 years old or one year old. Please if anyone can answer it would be soo helpfull! I see that everyone really says they’re good but do they actually work? Thanks.
