Don’t invest in mutual funds on PhonePe 😅 — found out they’re regular plans!

Hey everyone, I recently started investing in mutual funds through PhonePe because it looked super easy. But then I got an email from Mutual Fund mentioning a distributor ARN with PhonePe’s name — which means it’s actually a Regular plan, not Direct!

That means they get a small commission every year, which reduces your long-term returns a bit. And since PhonePe doesn’t give any fund recommendations or advisory help, I realized there’s no point paying that extra commission when I can invest directly myself.

Now I’m moving my SIPs to other Platform (Direct mode). Just wanted to share this in case anyone else didn’t know — or maybe I’m missing something?

What do you all think — any pros of staying with PhonePe for mutual funds?
