What can I do about a missing grav engine?

As the title says. I set up a colony spot before the grav engine landed on the other side of the map and didn't feel like moving anything, and learned that was the worst option possible when the first raider I had just stole the engine and left with it. I've waited for roughly a full in-game year to get another quest for a grav engine, but nothing. Is it possible to get a second one at all?
