How do I let him know?

I like this guy in college, we have been making this intense eye contact for about 3 months now, and he seems nice, never see him with a girl, he looks introverted and always smiling, which is kinda my type... ive never talked to him nor do i want to approach him and ask him out...how do i let him know that im actually intrested without giving out too much? Hes got to bad at taking hints that poor guy, so tell me accordingly, I think yall understand this situation, lmk...
