Upgrading from cheap Odin Fokoos 3D to the P1S

I just bought the P1S combo Black Friday sale. I am looking forward to not having to level and calibrate so much as I am moving up from my Fokoos Odin printer. I used Octoprint on a Raspberry Pi 3 to run that printer, is there any reason to keep using Octoprint with Bambu Labs or is it redundant now? I also bought some spools of filament on sale so the worst part is waiting for everything to arrive and then waiting for Christmas for my kids to start using it.
