Gathering info on local food assistance

Good morning, Rapid City! I’ve been stressing about our community as we approach November with SNAP benefits halted. Nearly 10,000 Pennington county residents are losing access.

I’m creating an exhaustive list of local assistance for food, and I’m hoping not to miss anything. If you know of any free pantries, fridges, banks, or other programs, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. I’m trying to also include specialty programs for children, veterans, or other groups.

I want to have a list for anyone who needs to eat, but also so that those who want to help know who to contact. I expect that help from the community will become greatly needed if a solution is not reached otherwise.
