Disney Announces "Disney Celebrating America" for USA's 250th Anniversary (Nov 2025–July 2026)

Disney just announced a year-long celebration for America's semiquincentennial. "Disney Celebrating America" kicks off Veterans Day 2025 and runs through July 4th weekend 2026.

Main Attractions:

Soarin' Across America opens Summer 2026 at both Disney California Adventure and EPCOT. This new version will showcase natural landmarks and cityscapes across the country.

Celebrate America Fireworks (the July 4th show) will run all three nights of the holiday weekend—July 3, 4, and 5—at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. That's an expansion from the usual single-night run.

Military Offers:

Disney will announce 2026 ticket and travel offers in November for active military, veterans, and their families at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line.

What Else:

Disney says they'll roll out more programming, experiences, and offerings across their brands over the next few weeks. Details are still coming.

Bob Iger's statement called it a celebration of "imagination, ambition, and possibility" that aligns with Disney's own values.

My Take:

Soarin' Across America could be great if they actually update the film quality. The current Soarin' Around the World footage looks dated. A domestic-focused version makes sense for the anniversary, but I'm curious if it's permanent or just for 2026.

Three nights of July 4th fireworks is a nice touch for anyone visiting that weekend.

Anyone else planning to visit during the celebration?
