Lost Friends

Hey guys,

Just want to scream into this echo chamber a little, and maybe even find if anyone has experienced what I have.

I’ve lost countless friends because of their continued support for this administration and all their tactics. I lost a very close friend because she disliked immigrants, spoke ill of Muslims and adores Trump. I lost a mentor and someone I cared for because of his love and devotion to Trump. I now have family from my father’s side who I’m starting to form a relationship with, but they tell me they dislike what’s happening, but I see them like a lot of posts from the White House / Trump. I also have a best friend who I adore, and her mother who I love and respect — and I am seeing the mother like a lot of posts too.

I just feel so lost, and I feel so lonely. I’ve met new friends who don’t feel this way, and I have family that doesn’t feel this way. However, I can’t help but feel alone.

Perhaps it is a good thing they showed who they are, because who wants to have friends that go against your morals and you never know? However, I also know had this person not been president, I’d still have relationships with these people I care for.

This whole thing sucks, and I am so bummed.
