Hysteroscopy to remove retained products of conception

experience: first MC

I have had a miserable past 3 months trying to get rid of retained products of conception. I miscarried at 6 weeks (found at 9). I took misoprostol on July 29. Wound up in the ER where they did an emergency MVA on Aug 3. I had a one day period on Sept 19 and a weird period for 5-7 days (it stopped and started a lot) on Oct 12 where I released a gray clot (looked like it could have been a decidual cast). Went in an turns out I still have retained products of conception. My OB attempted a hysteroscopy to remove it on Oct 22, but had to stop the procedure before removing anything because he punctured my uterine back wall when going in with the camera and dilation tool. He says I now have to wait at least a month to try the hysteroscopy procedure again. And then obviously I need to wait to heal. Does anyone have experience with a failed hysteroscopy and a follow up successful procedure? Does anyone have experience trying to conceive after a failed hysteroscopy? Everything had gone wrong it feels like. It feels so difficult. Any experiences like this would be so helpful to hear.
