What am i doing wrong

ik this has probably been asked thousands of times now but i need to know. im just not getting viewers. but i see all my other friends stream and they are getting at least an active chat but every time i stream all i see is an empty chat or the stupid Pokémon thing. im only 16 so i thought maybe its because im young so maybe i just wont get viewers rn then i see one of my IRL's just get 50 veiwers in their stream. and now ive just lost all motivation to stream ever sense because im jealous, because i see my freind just stream and have fun and get viewers while i sit here streaming and just stare at and empty chat. then i just end the stream in disappointment. no big numbers on the twitch stats just empty.
